Can u think of any original/new/ different interview techniques?
Interview for job, mainly depends on the job profile. It is not original/new/different. But I will say it anyway. I, personally, interview about 5-6 candidates every week for techincal posts. My objective is very simple so is my style. First, for the technical interview :Make the candidate comfortable. I present my best pleasing self to the candidate. Start by asking technical questions for which the answer is obvious. Once he or she gets comfortable, dive deeply in to the subject, trying specifics questions and sceanarios. After all, the objective is to assess the candidate’s credibility, and I take my time to do that. Second part: personal interview is more difficult. So many articles are available to read and study about, that you end up getting stereotype answers. One way to overcome that, is the enquire further in to the subject for which you think you received stereotype answer, change sceanario or something, the intention is to invoke an original response.
