Can ultrasound sexing be wrong at 16 weeks?

Sure, it can be wrong at any time. I know 2 women that were both told throughout their pregnancies they were having boys and ended up with girls. That being said, more times than not they are right. I found out I was having a girl at 19 weeks but she showed everything she had so the ultrasound tech said she was 99.99999% sure she was a girl, which she was. It sounds like unless you have another ultrasound, you may not know the sex for sure until the birth. Maybe you should go get a 3D or 4D ultrasound. Good luck and I hope you get the little girl you are wanting so much!
