Can video games cause violence in children and how?
Video games are unlikely to cause a well balanced child to become violent, but in a child with aggreesive tendencies or in a psychologically disturbed child watching and playing violent video games can desensitise them to the horror andd brutality of violence and become a pattern for real life. Though they are few and far between people who perpetrate massacres are often inadequate loners with escape their social inadequacies by bolstering their self ego by playing violent games and joining gun clubs etc – something they feel they have control over.
