It seems obvious that vitamin C is a cancer fighter as well, but is it really true?Answer: Researchers sought to answer this question using 14,641 physicians who are part of a long-term clinical trial. One thing being tested was the impact of vitamin C on cancer risk. One group of the physicians were told to take a vitamin C supplement every other day (500mg of vitamin C) and compared to a placebo group (another group took vitamin E). After 10 years, there was no difference in the risk of cancer when comparing the vitamin C group to the placebo group.
