Can VIVILON be waxed, sanded, or buffed like automotive paint?
Certainly. VIVILON is just as easy work with as any other automotive clear. You can apply two to four coats, then buff it with 1500 polishing compound until the depth of gloss appears to be an utterly amazing foot deep. One paint shop owner didn’t have any compound to polish with, so he just used some regular wax. He said the gloss was like a mirror and he could see every whisker on his face. Of course, you don’t NEED to do any of this. VIVILON needs NO wax and comes with a fantastic shine and depth of gloss as it is. But, anything, including sanding, buffing, polishing or waxing that you would do to any other coating, can be done to Vivilon coatings as well. If you are a perfectionist and want the very best finish that can be achieved, VIVILON allows you to achieve it.
