Can weight loss increase sprinting speed ?

0

If you are at a healthy weight already, it will more likely decrease your sprinting speed. On the other hand, if you are overweight you will in general get faster (of course that is if you lose weight healthy).

It depends on how hard you are training, how much weight you have to lose and how fit you are. If you are only moderately fit you can lose weight and still get faster. If you are already pretty fast and just want to lose a few pounds you’ll need to be careful not to lose weight too fast or it will hurt your ability to recover from practice.
