Since only men hold the priesthood, women are not ordained to priesthood offices such as elder or apostle. However, there are numerous leadership positions they fill and carry out that bless the lives of many men and women in the church. Men are not held above women in the church. In fact, we men know we couldn’t do half the things we do in the church without them. Let’s talk about another misconception: The LDS church was once a racist organization that thought people with dark skin were impure. How true is that?
