Answer Hi Amber – Yes, this phone is capable of playing MP3 music files, however, US Cellular has done the same thing that Verizon does, which is to disable the drivers so that you cannot download music to the device without using their software or services (such as Napster to Go). So, unfortunately, you can’t just plug the phone into your computer with a USB connection and download music, you need to go to www.napster.usceullar.com to download the software. US Cellular gives you a free 30 day trial of this software, but then you have to pay monthly for it. I hope this helps. Thanks.
