Can you get out of a bt internet contract earlier ?

If they are in breach of contract and fail to remedy their breach within a reasonable time, you are entitled to terminate the contract with no penalty. They will argue they are not in breach and that their crap service and unreliable connections are in accordance with their terms and conditions. If you read their conditions, they are outrageous … including the one that automatically renews your contract for another year unless you terminate it within a narrow window of opportunity. That is just dishonest and I am pretty sure they know it. Don’t accept that their abysmal service is in accordance with their conditions. If they argue, suggest letting the courts decide who is right and who is wrong. Only do this if you are 100% sure you are right. If it is just a few niggles with the service, make a fuss and get it fixed … then cancel your contract when you can without penalty. If they have REALLY p1$$ed you off, it is worth paying the penalty to get out of their evil clutches. Whateve
