Can you give me all the gods and goddesses in greek mythology?especially in “the iliad”?
Not in all greek myth, no. You have to remember that the ancient Greeks had lots and lots and lots of gods and goddesses. Every spring, river, mountain, etc. had its own god, goddess or nymph. Any one who claims to give you a full list of them all will almost certainly be missing something. Oh, and, in case anyone thinks that’s a challenge, lol, please do remember that a lot of the time we only know about these gods from ancient inscriptions and A LOT of those inscriptions won’t have survived, so it may be that no one will ever know about some of the greek gods. By the way, even the Ancient Greeks knew this! A lot of inscriptions say things like ‘to Zeus and Hera and… then they give a long list, and then finish with…and any god we have not named’ Just in case THEY had forgotten one of them. If the Greeks didn’t know ALL of their gods, what hope do we have lol!
