Can you give some examples of major, well-known diseases that Coriell provides to researchers?
Coriell has collected (and is still collecting) cells from relatively common genetic diseases, such as diabetes, Alzheimer Disease, breast cancer, manic-depressive illness, Down Syndrome, and cystic fibrosis; from rare diseases such as Huntington Disease, multiple sclerosis, retinitis pigmentosa, and schizophrenia; and from rare and unusual conditions such as Lou Gehrig’s disease and progeria.
