Most people scoff and say that it is impossible. They laugh and say that if you do it’s because your parents paid for everything for you. However, it really is possible. I know, because I did. I don’t often share something this personal, but I just want everyone to know that they can do it as well. I knew during my senior year, that I was on my own for college. I got fairly good grades, and I receive a one year full tuition scholarship. I didn’t even bother applying for financial aid, because I knew I wouldn’t qualify with my parents’ income. Even though I had my tuition covered I had to pay for living expenses. I ended up working part-time and covering my rent.
