Can you name some good and cheap hotels in stanbul, Turkey which do not exceed 50$ per night?
You could stay in a hostel, which would be cheap. None of the hotels in Istanbul are too expensive if you stay in the Sultanahmet area, but below $50 might be difficult. In Serkeci (the district right next to Sultanahmet) there is a hotel there called the Hotel Gulhane. I have stayed there, and a single is about $35 per night. The room is clean, but the floors are uncarpeted, and unless you stay in a double room, there are public bathrooms and no breakfast. If you are really willing to go bare bones, then this would be a good place to go. The number is +90 212 522 4652. Otherwise I would reccomend springing for a slightly more expensive hotel which will give you much more for a slightly higher price.
