Can you provide an approximate time frame required to complete the physical survey in a typical processing facility and tentative costs for budgetary purposes?
To determine a time / cost envelope we would need to undertake a careful review to determine the size and scope of a project. Accordingly, the level of detail required in the deliverables will significantly impact the amount of time required both on-site and in office. Compared to the time, expense, and limitations of traditional hand survey as-built we can now provide a complete modern solution in less time at a better price. As a rough estimate we base site attendance on the number of potential scanning positions required to capture an area. For example, we can complete four to six positions in a day which is usually enough to fully model a typical 75m x 75m x 1 level volume of plant. Modelling of this same area can be considered as a ratio from three to twelve days to complete depending on the level of detail and amount of intelligence.
