Yes, first of all, there is much documentation to show that the higher the frequency of line breakages, the higher the risk of Catheter Contamination. Obviously, with Bionector being a closed system, which allows you to infuse directly through it, you eliminate many unnecessary line breakages. This therefore reduces the risk of Catheter Contamination. There are also Microbiological Studies, which prove that Bionector is a proper Closed I.V.
