Can you run hydraulic oil in a standard fuel oil home heater furnace?

Fuel oil is more like kerosene or diesel fuel than it is like hydraulic oil. I would not even try it. I have known people that used waste oil as an additive (slow drip) to a wood or coal stove, the hydraulic oil might work in this type, but I doubt this is what you are talking about.
