Can you travel and live abroad witha PGCE?

After you complete your PGCE it is sensible to complete the NQT year. If you don’t do this you will need to complete the process when you return from abroad. The world is full of vacancies for qualified Primary Teachers. Why confine yourself to the USA and Australia when there are far more exciting and interesting opportunities? You could investigate the International Schools’ Networks and probably get a job on the strength of your present qualifications, but I recommend that you complete teacher training. I’m sure you realise that walking into a Primary Schoolroom is not like a walk in the park. Finally, don’t become a teacher unless you really want to be a teacher.
