I have a 2003 VW Jetta 2.0 standard with automatic transmission. I cannot get the car out of park and have to wait a few minutes to do so. After the car warms up for a few minutes, then the car can go into drive. When the I step on the brakes, the brake light turns off but I cannot switch the gears. Has anyone had this problem or know of a way to resolve this issue I am having. This problem has occurred since I got the car, new. Thanks A: Your warranty is still good. Take it to the dealer.
