Can the tribes agree to some kind of regulation, environmental abuse and that kind of thing?
Exactly. And I think that’s what the governor is trying to do is trying to establish a relationship. But in my mind it has to be statewide, not by indivual tribe. I think it’s a given that the Indians are going to control the gaming in the state. I’m not in favor of it expanding past that. If a casino patron is robbed in the parking lot, say, who do they call? They call us. The casinos have private security but we do have contractual deputies on some of the Indian casinos. And those deputies are there to assist them (casino personnel and victims) in understanding the law and helping them go through the process of taking action. Are the casinos charged the standard rate for the contractual deputies? It’s like a contract with the city. We serve nine of the 18 cities.
