WASH & CAREWash and dry the diapers and microfiber terry inserts prior to first use. If using hemp inserts, wash them separately 3-4 times on hot. Washing your Swaddlebees pocket diapers with hemp inserts together prior to first use may cause the oils from the hemp inserts to coat the fleece and cause it to repel. After changing your baby’s diaper, shake out the insert into your diaper pail and throw the diaper in. On wash day, run the dirty diapers in a cold soak or prewash. If you have already soaked your diapers in a pail, spin out any remaining dirty water. Wash your diapers in warm or hot water with a small amount of detergent (1/4 – 1/2 of the recommended dose). Over-dosing on detergent produces build up and is the single most common cause of leaking problems. An additional rinse can be used for particularly soiled loads.
