Please follow the steps provided by our technical support staff below: To install the new license on Windows NT. 1) Select Start -> Programs – >CCCHarvest 4.x.x Server ->Computer Associates License Maintenance. 2) Select Add Newly purchased license from the Platinum License maintenance window. 3) Point to the the .lic file provided by TLC by clicking on the browse button. Make sure the license manager starts as an NT service. Note: The license manager runs only if there exists a permanent key. Do not start the license manager for a demo license. 4) Ensure that LM_LICENSE_FILE is pointing to right license.dat file (The license.dat file that was created as a result of the previous step.) To install the new license on a UNIX platform. Enter the following: 1) Cd $HARVESTHOME/install 2) Set_license Select [1] – New license, then enter the full path (including the name) of the new .lic file.
