Chicken bouillon granules vs chicken broth??

The recipe should say what size can to use. Take that measurement, like 16 oz, and convert it to cups. Then you can figure out how much bouillon to use. The canned broth may have a stronger taste than the finished bouillon broth. Take that into consideration too. Good Luck! Cooking is much more flexible than baking. If you don’t get the measurements quite right, just make sure that the ratio between the granuals and the water is correct. Broth can always be drained out.

Good answers, so far, especially about the salt. ALWAYS taste and then season. Then taste some more. I recommend an alternative to either: chicken broth concentrate sold in a small jar. I’d have to check, but the mix is one tsp to a cup of hot water. Here’s why I prefer it. Broth you buy in the can or box is inevitably NOT the amount you need. That means something is growing colorful mold in your refrigerator. Bouillon cubes or granules, in my experience, taste a lot like dusty cardboard. If you aren’t making your own stock and freezing it in ice cube form, try the jarred concentrate and see if you go back to those other shortcuts.
