Children leave their parents at Old age home.Is this the way to reciprocate the love of your parents ?
I am both someone’s child and someone’s parent and I can tell you this-children owe their parents NOTHING, and parents owe their children EVERYTHING. That parent *chose* to have the child, not the other way around! Saying that your child “owes you” because you had sex and (purposely or accidentally) produced them, and then did your *duty* by providing, for them is just ludacris. That was YOUR job that you CHOSE to accept. It is not a child’s job to take care of their parents, but a parent’s *job* to take care of themselves AND their children until they are adults. I would NEVER expect my children to put their adult lives on hold and care for me and my husband in our old age-that’s rediculous! And my parents don’t expect me to do that for them. People need to take responsibility for *themselves* and save up for their retirement/old age while they are young. My parents have-my husband and I are-and I would expect my children to do the same.
