Answer If you are using sheet products…and nailing the floor down the nails themselves and the weight of the wood will be fine just keep the material under a watchful eye to make sure it doesn’t overlap or wrinkle …If you are using a nice piece of 9/16 thick Strip or plank type 7 inch wide product you will be fine. Just make sure when you tap up your boards for tight fit you don’t pinch the cork …any resistance at the seam edge and you will need to stop and check to make sure. Even if you glue your cork down you will still have to check constantly for pinch at the joints. If it is extremely curled at the end of the roll ….cut off and save for later…tape the seams with duct tape on the ends and lengths… Here is a quote from a web site that sells cork “Cork Underlayment Adhesive, 4 Gallons covers up to 400-550 sq. ft. Attaching the underlayment to the subfloor with this adhesive is only necessary if you plan on attaching the flooring above the underlayment to the underlayment
