Nope. The Amityville FAQ site was created by myself, with no help or support by George Lutz. Totally independent. I don’t even know if George ever visited the FAQ site. The discussion board was created long ago by others. George linked to it from his amityvillehorror.com site, but it ran independant of that. It started as an offshoot of Ric Osuna’s forum, when Chris Lutz got banned from there. Chris started his own forum which lasted a short time. After that died, some of the regulars started a new board. That died, too, and one of the members (Ozz) started this board, which moved around to a few different forum-hosting sites over the years. In 2005, this forum was forced to leave EZboard (who wanted an outrageous $800 renewal fee). George allowed us to set up shop on his own servers. When George died, Tim Yancey took over his website and asked us to leave, so I moved the board over here, to my amityvillefaq server.
