Constantly making excuses, whats the deal?
My fiance is always making excuses for his dog’s ill behavior and I just can’t figure out what the deal is with it. He never wants to admit that the dog did something wrong, and he never punishes or scolds it for it’s wrong doings. The dog could pee on the floor (even though it was taken out an hour before hand) – and it’s the excuse that the dog is mad at us for leaving him alone all day while we are at work. The dog could destroy a pair of my shoes to the point that they can’t even be fixed, the excuse for that is that it is my fault. I shouldn’t leave them where the dog can get them. (my shoes are always in the closet, my fiance forgets to shut the closet door sometimes – which results in the dog eating my shoes.) The dog howls excessively to the point that sometimes the neighbors complain. Instead of trying to work with the dog training it and such to decrease the frequency of thehowling, the excuse is that “it’s the breed of dog he is and that is just how they are”. The dog has bi
