while it is true that canned salmon is put into the can raw,the process of canning it imvolves heat. Canned salmon is no different than canned tuna and you never cook that before making tuna salad. Over cooking makes it dry. Fish is very delicate and can go from great to shoe leather in a few minutes. not all nutrients dissappear when cooked. Some nutrients even need cooking to release them…….I just went ot the web site you mentioned and read the answers. They say that it is cooked, in the can, under pressure and with high heat. You just maybe didn’t get that far in the article when you read it.
