Cosmetic breast surgery for girls – is it right?
There have been several reports in the media in recent weeks regarding breast surgery in female teenagers. Some of these reports have described deep unhappiness and dissatisfaction amongst some young women who had undergone such surgery. It is clear that they had requested the surgery in the first place but their subsequent reaction raises serious questions about the appropriateness of such surgery and their state of preparedness for that surgery.
