Could 3d brodcast widen the apeal of NHL Hockey games?
Hockey is a great sport, but it does not televise well in my opinion. Here in North Carolina the Carolina Hurricane games are rarely watched, yet everybody loves to go to the games. Even my wife who does not like sports enjoyed going to a hockey game. Big screen TV helps, but I’m wondering if anybody has watched one of the games in 3d and if the difference was noticeable enough to draw in a new group of spectators. Take a look at this the stands are full and active. Yet the next day no one will ask did you catch the game on TV last night.
