Could a Nerdy person Strangle somebody to death?
It would be easier to crush a person’s windpipe with a sharp blow. It’s relatively exposed in the front, though most people instinctively protect it. This would technically be ‘choking’ instead of ‘strangling’. Strangling is cutting off the blood flow to the head. There are some good holds that even a weak person might apply, but the ones I know would require you to be above and behind someone. You’d have to be tall or they’d have to be sitting down. Edit: That’s a good point about Bundy, Belle. He would strangle people, but only after he had beaten them to unconsciousness with a stick – and usually even that was on someone asleep or otherwise unaware.
The line between genius and insanity is very thin. There have been nerdy serial killers, highly intelligent guys who just crossed the line. Ted Bundy comes to mind…I know he thought he was cool, but really he was kind of a nerd. You can look them up…the motives are too complex to get into in any depth, usually having to do with hatred of women because of real or perceived rejection. Being a nerd does not mean lacking upper body strength, a lot of these guys are very wiry and could easily overpower at least a weak victim such as a child.
