Could a pet cat kill a chicken?

0

It is possible for a cat to kill a chicken, however there would be quite a raucous, as most likely a fight would ensue. Chickens can be a little territorial and defensive. I’m assuming too that these chickens are adults and not small. The cat would more than likely be deterred before it killed one, but that doesn’t mean it’s not possible. I would suggest going to the neighbor and tell him you need to reclaim your cat before anything happens. It’s also possible that your cat could end up with an injury from the chickens as well. I have cats, dogs, used to raise chickens, etc, etc… ADD: But don’t take my word for it, read through this thread from chicken growers…
