Could anyone give me a sample amendment letter of rejection for my credit card rate?

If the credit card company wants to change the terms of your card you do not have many choices. You can accept the changes in terms. In this case nothing changes except that you are now bound by the new terms. You can reject the change in terms. If you do this you must send them a letter stating that you reject the terms. At that time they will close out your account and you will be responsible for balance. You can attempt to get them to give you a better rate. This sometimes works if you say you have another offer and you are going to close their account out if they don’t match it. Sometimes this works, sometimes not.
