Published: 21 August 2009Prince Andrew could become a professional golfer after reducing his handicap to four, it has been reported. According to a number of media outlets, Prince Andrew is now eligible to apply to the PGA to become a full-time professional golfer, which could see him picking out a golf shirt and taking to courses in the UK. The prince used to be captain of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews and first began playing in 1979. In the past, Prince Andrew has proven his dedication to the game by hiring a private jet to fly him to The Open, as well as calling on the RAF to take him to St Andrews for an event. Should the prince decide to take up golf at a professional level he may find that investing in a new wardrobe of trendy golf fashion helps him face up to the scrutiny that may follow in the media. © Copyright News brought to you by Glenmuir, keep you looking and playing at your best.  more
