Could I take both radio broadcasting and Audio Production Engineering to work at a radio station?

I’m not positive you need a degree in radio broadcasting to be on the radio, but I suppose it could help. Audio Production Engineering sounds like it has more to do with recording bands in studios than radio broadcasting — though I’m sure people with that sort of background work in radio as engineers and such. That too might be useful to know if you run a record label. You might want to take business courses if the label is what you want to do.
