I recently had the Depo injection and two days into my first period following it, I developed severe abdominal pain (similar to labor pains and chronic gut ache). After several days of this, I was diagnosed with appendicitis and after surgery was told I had retrograde menstruation instead. Now two weeks after surgery I am continuing to have abdominal pain. I have had a scan to check my uterus, etc.and all appears okay. It Is not endometriosis. Has this got anything to do with injection?
