Could the Aloe Vera Juice loose its nutritional and healing properties because of the pasteurization process?

0

Research done by the International Aloe Science Council (IASC) indicate that aloe vera must be pasteurized to preserve its value and kill bacteria that might be present in the plant when it is harvested. Those studies show that the polysaccharides and the plant’s other active ingredients have breakdown temperatures above 110°C (230°F). Our Aloe Vera Juice is pasteurized at a maximum temperature of 85°C, thus keeping its active ingredients’ properties intact, and at the same time eliminating all the bacteria that could be present on the plant’s leaves, making the product completely innocuous for human consumption.
