Could u pls explain me TCP/IP protocol with a simple practical example?
TCP stands for Transmission Control Protocol & IP stands for Internet protocol OSI layers show how data is transferred from one computer to the other on a network There are seven layers in OSI model 1.application layer : this is the interface you work on to create a document, file etc. 2.Presentation layer : this layer converts the file in to appropriate computer codes to transfer it over the network 3.Session layer : it creates sessions of a file, document. 4.Transport layer : Here the data is known as packets and this layer makes sure that the packets are sent to the destination computer without any loss in data.TCP protocol comes in this layer 5.Network Layer : This layer is used to find out the best path through which the data can be transferred . IP protocol comes in this layer 6.
