It’s fair that you want to meet someone who is like you. Not all “blue collar” women, though, have different interests than you–I really wouldn’t pigeonhole people based on class. But I do get where you’re coming from. Just to let you know: I’m gay, in my twenties, live in an urban city, and it’s sometimes hard to find someone with a similar background/interests/ambitions. I would recommend Plenty of Fish to try (online dating–lots of gay women). But if you’re in your early 30s and are seriously thinking of marriage/kids, I’d enlist a matchmaking service–try looking for one in a city close by. I think you’d really benefit from a matchmaking service, because it sounds like right now you’re more interested in similar interests and background, rather than personality and looks (and thus are way way easier to match).
