I just need someone to tell me that things wlll get better as my babies grow… I’m nursing my two-month-old twins, and it’s just been one thing after another since they were born. My milk didn’t come in for five days, leading to jaundice and excessive weight loss, and I spent the first two weeks nursing/pumping/finger-feeding for one hour out of every two. When it did come in, it did so with a vengeance, and I’ve been struggling with oversupply/OALD ever since. A lot of the usual tricks don’t really work with twins, and although it’s improved somewhat in the last couple weeks, everything else is still hellacious. I had my first case of mastitis at 10 days postpartum, and the second two weeks ago. I went to see a breastfeeding specialist who diagnosed me with recurrent mastitis and thrush, and put me on an additional round of antibiotics and a rather intimidating array of treatments for thrush. I finished the abx yesterday, after 17 straight days, and today I’ve got a painfully swollen
