Crash Helmets Law only for Motor Cyclists?
Bad idea! Look at how much anything that burns gas or diesel are over-regulated. Why do that to cars and horses? The less the government is involved in your life, the better off you are. Various studies done by the CDC in the US, and other studies in Europe and Australia have shown conclusively that bicycle helmets only offer marginal protection, and only in certain types of crashes, which are not that common. They are useless in a car-bike collision. The most common accidents on bicyles is either hitting another bicyclist, or a stationary object, such as a telephone pole, or the most common, an opened car door. Helmets offer little protection in these situations, because the head is not usually what gets damaged.
