All PD/PIs must be registered and be assigned the PD/PI role in the eRA Commons prior to the submission of the application. Note: While each PD/PI must hold a PD/PI account in the Commons. PDs/PIs do not register with Grants.gov. Only the applicant organization registers with Grants.gov.. In addition, all PDs/PIs at the applicant organization must be affiliated with that organization.
