D Holographic Galactic Star Wars Map – When Can We All Have a Look at That?
Do you remember the scene in one of the Star Wars Trilogy Movies where Yoda was instructing a group of gifted kids and explaining the Universe, while a giant holographic image was being displayed? Well, wouldn’t that just be a super thing to have for us to teach our kids? Okay, then we should do it right? Now you are probably thinking this is some sort of an Astronomical Hallucination or pipe dream, but in reality it’s not. You see this technology exists now, and although it may be too expensive for our currently cash strapped schools in the US during the recession, soon that technology will become more common place and much less expensive. Having Holographic projection and a map of the universe in 3D for our kids to learn will really go a long way in helping them to understand and contemplate spatial reasoning problems.
