School districts that opted in to Act 72 were required to enact a local earned income tax to offset a decrease in property taxes.

I am an international customer and was charged additional customs fees and taxes upon delivery of my order. What are these surcharges for & who are they from?
Did Act 72 require additional taxes to make up for a reduction in property taxes?
Are there any additional sales taxes?
