Did Adam and Eve have bellybuttons
Who cares. Adam and eve are not the first humans but the first humans in direct connection with god (my friend is a pastor and philosophy major so he has been involved in the major discussions and has kept me in the loop). You must understand that god told moses to write these scriptures using the holy spirit but that he still had a human mind and so his ideas and logic were limited by his ideas and thoughts of that time period. Thats why the bible seems mythological, it’s not because it copied other religions (Judaism is the current oldest religion) but because that is the common path for human thought.
