Did Adolf Hitler participate in world war 1?
When WWI started, Adolf Hitler volunteered for the German army and was accepted into the 16th Bavarian Reserve Infantry Regiment. He became a corporal and earned the Iron Cross Second Class and First Class. He was temporarily blinded due to a gas attack which hospitalized him, and he then spent time working at a POW camp in Traunstein. When he went back to Munich, he became part of a local army organization and given the task of spying on local political groups. Hitler was rather taken with one of said political groups, and joined in September of 1919. By 1921 he was the head of the party and we all know where it goes from there. You need to see the principal about your teacher and the grade. The Principal doesn’t want idiots teaching his students. Hitler was a Corporal in WW 1 and he was a war hero. Very mad that Germany surrendered. BTW, Hitler was an Austrian, but they are like cousins. Their native language is German.. Oh, and one more point. Hitler was a painter and that’s probably the only thing your teacher got right.
