Amazingly, a few Pine Hill residents outside our neighborhood came to the meeting to support the building of a gym here. They have bought into the notion that a gym will bring the borough more tax revenue to offset property taxes. Again, please note that none of those people live in our neighborhood. Also, please note that our neighborhood is among the highest taxed in Pine Hill. Were suffering under high property taxes, but we are not fooled into believing one gym will produce enough tax revenue to ease our burden.
