We were fortunate enough to see the original Broadway cast! My daughter loved Idina Menzel; I favored Kristen Chenoweth’s performance (and voice!). As you know, Wicked tells the Wizard of Oz story from the witches’ point of view. I enjoyed it, but I think it caters to the teenage population: loud orchestrations, techo-lighting, belting voices. Definitely not Rodgers and Hammerstein! Still, well worth seeing. I hope you’ll enjoy the video clips below!
