Did anyone see Sanctuary on the Sci-fi channel and?
It was alright… it definitely looked like the best ‘original’ thing the sci-fi channel has ever done since Stargate Atlantis, but that’s not saying much – even tolerable ‘sci-fi channel original’ stuff is far between. It does look like a rip-off of both Hellboy without the government oversight, and Torchwood without the sex, violence, language, bad acting, cheesy writing, and everything that makes it worth watching. So, it was pretty solid, and I’m guessing will run for 3-5 mostly decent seasons before it gets cancelled due to a sudden devolvement into pure confusion and shoddy production and bad writing. However, I also think it has the least accurate depiction of any branch of forensic science (in this case, forensic psychology) EVER shown on TV, which is impressive considering how fake the stuff on CSI is… Oh, and I’m seriously confused by Amanda Tapping’s accent, although it sounded waaay more Canadian than English to me.
