Pb2 Cl2 C O3 Yes I assume you mean the AQA GCSE additional science paper, the empirical formula wa Pb2 Cl2 C O3. To work it out you do the percentage of it devided by the Mr (relative atomic mass). It came out as follows: Pb: 0.35 Cl: 0.35 C: 0.18 O: 0.55 Then you have to put them as a ratio (so you divide by the smallest number [0.18]). The ratio is 2:2:1:3.
