Did Hanson really do an Eggo Waffles commercial?
Yep. In 1997 Kellogg’s put Hanson on their Eggo Boxes, and also did a commercial featuring them. The commercial featured Hanson performing “Thinking of You” on a platform above an alley, while dozens of pedestrians watched from below. At one point a woman in a window flashes a box of Eggo Waffles, which prompts Issac to motion for her to throw him the box. After making a surprised face (I mean, how many times is it that you’ll have a member of Hanson ask you for a box of waffles?), Ike reassures her and she tosses them to him. Zac mouths “YEAH!” and thrusts his drumsticks in the air. Near the end of the commercial he has a waffle on his drumstick and takes a bite of it. Yes, the commercial is as funny as it sounds.
